NDA and Voltron

Voltron

RLFM

Earlier this year, we went to visit TLG for the RLFM 2018 days in Billund, and in line with good old traditions, we got the chance to meet up with some of the LEGO Designers and Product Groups.

The LEGO Ideas Team

High on our list, every year is the LEGO Ideas team, as they always impress us with fantastic sets and great new builds by the LEGO community. You all remember the NASA Saturn Rocket, Women of NASA, The Tron Legacy and of course the amazing Anton and the Old Fishing Store.

Paperwork to sign …

This year, our meet and greet with The LEGO Ideas team went in a slightly different direction and we were asked to sign an NDA and put all our cameras and phones away.

We happily signed, and so there is not more to tell.
Or say.
Or share.
Corporate NDA can do that to a creative soul. Ouch. Continue reading “NDA and Voltron”

HispaBrick Twenty Eight

This month’s word can only be LEGO.

We are running a fantastic #WhereIsAnton creative photoshoot (yes you can still join), we just finished a toy photography safari with lots of LEGO and we will be visiting the grand opening of the LEGO House this Friday.
And to top it all off, we got featured in HispaBrick Magazine Twenty Eight. Continue reading “HispaBrick Twenty Eight”

Where Is Anton

A must have iconic set.

When LEGO revealed the LEGO Ideas Old Fishing Store on the first night of the RLFM days, we knew we had just laid our eyes on a most gorgeous, iconic set. A collector’s item in the making.
Most probably one of the best sets of 2017.
A toy photographers dream.
A must have. Continue reading “Where Is Anton”

Visiting the RLFM days 2017. Excuse me, the what..?

When Boris and myself went to Billund, Denmark last week to attend the RLFM days  2017 (RLFM aka Recognized LEGO® Fan Media) as representatives of StuckInPlastic I was excited and nervous at the same time. Excited as it was my first visit to the domicile of LEGO System A/S – and nervous for the same reason.

From the schedule that had been sent to us in advance by AFOL Relations Manager Kim E. Thomson I already had an idea of what was going to happen:

On the first day we would meet the other participants and learn about their groups; we would meet the company´s CEO for a dialogue session and have a tour of the new LEGO house and a Q&A session with its director and designer, followed by a dinner.

Listening to the CEO

PS. Two little LEGO Projects

This month here on Stuck In Plastic our word is projects and so we were happily surprised to discover that the LEGO Group is not just running one but actually two beautiful projects right now for all the RLUG/RLFM groups out there that are celebrating the brick and minifig in all its glory.

The very first one is really tailored to the creative photog in all of us and is some sweet little Easter fun with the chance of winning a nice little LEGO Easter Egg. The LEGO group will innocently draw 10 winners out of all this creative plastic goodness, so this one really has us written all over it.
Taking pictures of plastic. Continue reading “PS. Two little LEGO Projects”
