“You need a new suit, that much is certain.”Edna Mode
The Incredibles, a movie painstakingly put together by many animators, editors, and producers. Its attention to detail and realistic animation style give it top scores by all. Just look at how long it took to make the second one, 14 years! With that being said, LEGO spared no expense getting the details right on its two newest Incredibles minifigures: Frozone and Edna Mode.
According to Pixar, “Frozone keeps his cool when the action heats up. A hero with style, he puts villains on ice without breaking a sweat”. He is represented very well in his LEGO form.
With both dual molded legs and arms, this character is a collector’s dream. He has printing on the front and back to match his slick costume, and even accentuates a little muscle. The head gives us a good recreation of Frozone wearing his mask, and we see a sly smile, proof that he’s keeping his cool, even in the heat of battle.
Another cool bonus is this figure comes with clear power blast pieces. You can recreate Frozone’s icy blasts and freeze bad guys in their tracks.
“I never look back darling, it distracts from the now!” Edna Mode, the famed superhero costume designer, is ready for action in her brick form.
Edna seems to be made of reused parts. She has short, but sadly not bendable, legs. And her torso is similar to that of an old rocket raccoon. But nonetheless, her molded headpiece gives us those big, circle-rimmed glasses she is so known for.
With her double-sided head, one a smile, and one showing disgust, and awesome accessories, this character gives off the same energy from both movies. Edna is ready to judge your outfit and make you a better one with just a quick look. And she’ll send you home with it in a bag stamped with her logo… Mode, the o & d forming her signature glasses.
So what do you think?
