It is Looney Tunes Times

The latest CMF (Collectible Minifigure Series) that LEGO is about to unleash on the world is a toy photographers dream (at least if you like classic American Cartoons) and features the all-star crew of the immensely popular Looney Tunes cartoon series.

The full crew of the new Looney Tunes 71030 series

Looney Tunes is almost 100 years old and started in 1930 as a competition for that other classic mouse named Mickey. Originally the first shorts were created to promote the music of Warner Bros, and were the front runners of what later would become MTV (we think).  The oldest still standing Looney Tune is Porky Pig who made his debut in 1935 “I haven’t got a hat” . The series continued and started to introduce one star after another. Daffy joined the show two years later in Porky’s Duck Hunt, and Bugs made his intro in 1940 with a Wild Hare. If you want to dig deeper in the wonderful world of Looney Tunes, this article on Wikipedia can keep you entertained for a couple of hours.
But we are here for the review of the new series.
And not just a trip down memory lane.

After Wendy’s Garden we got our second review in of the new LEGO CMF Series Twenty. This time from Bert aka Brickmione who shared the idea behind Is this just Fanta Sea with us.

The idea

The idea came up during diner. Corona-weekend means that the children are allowed a little more than usual. The oldest daughter found some Fanta in the cupboard. She wanted to try it while I thought she doesn’t even like it. But then this meme came into my mind.

Is this the real life? Is this just Fanta sea?

The new LEGO DC Collectible Minifigures

For my first blog post as part of the SiP crew, I decided to write a review of the new LEGO Collectible Minifigures of DC characters.

Mister Miracle

Mister Miracle is a fictional SuperHero and his alter ego is Scott Free.

He first appeared in Mister Miracle #1 (April 1971) and was created by Jack Kirby.

This superhero had various Abilities like: Immortality, Super Escape Artist, Master hand-to-hand combatant and he is a Genius Inventor.

This minifigure comes with a few accessories like a green cape ( my bag had 2) handcuffs and a large chain.

The green colors of the suit, the hands, and the cape match perfectly.

Mister Miracle comes with one face printed.
