Anyone who knows from experience, which is better with the mailing, Glossy front or Matte?
Thank You!

I don't know if one is better than another, it's probably more a personal preference. Personally, I'm not a big fan of glossy and so always prefer a matte or semi-matte finishing :-)

I have tried both with Moo and I was not really pleased with the Matte finish. I really prefer Glossy, colors are brighter, more contrast. It's like having a photography on thick paper :)
But it depends on your taste :)

Thanks Maëlick, I’m thinking matte too, it’s definitely cheaper with the service I use, plus less fingerprints from the mail carriers who handle them!

I tend to go high end and pack my cards in an envelope. This way the print is protected more. It is not a must, and for sure you can just do the naked card as it has a special charm to have the stamp on it.

I tend to print mine as matte on high-end paper of Moo (Moo is running a special 30% off this weekend), but really it is a personal preference.

Boris

Thank you Boris,
I was just wondering if I should do the same as far as putting them in envelopes. But that puts up the question of should I do glossy then? I’m still thinking I’ll go with Mayte after looking at Christmas cards I have received from family and friends. Thanks again

Just a quick update to everyone that joined the Card Exchange. You all should have gotten an email of Maëlick today with all the details.

If you have not gotten it, just let us know here in the discussion board.
