[Sticky] Looking for Creatives.
Earlier this year, we looked for some creative toy photographers who wanted to join here at SiP and become a Creative Contributor (CC). We got quite some positive reactions, and have worked with some of you at a variety of projects throughout the year. For 2019 we have more creative opportunities in the pipeline, both here at SiP and with TLG (yep, you read that right, The LEGO Group).
Some of the opportunities may include a "free" review set, early access to new sets and minifigures. Others may give you a chance for some extra exposure when you get featured on one of the TLG social channels with your toy photography.
If you are seriously interested in creatively working with us, like the rush of deadlines and take part in the fun that let us know below in the comments.
You need to be 18 years old.
You need to be willing to sign a creative release form (it is a very photographer friendly license so your work can be used to spread our love for the brick) and you need to love toy photography.
The first opportunity is just around the Christmas tree, so if you are interested, tell us a little bit more about yourself and why you want to join in the creative fun we get things rolling.
I would like to participate on some of your projects :) Sounds like fun :) I love toy photography, but sometimes I feel stuck and unmotivated and uninspired and these external projects and challenges would be good for me, to force me to take photos. And you also want me to tell you something about myself... well, I started taking toy photography more seriously this year I think and it's still fun. I learned so much in the past few months and I want to put it to good use. So whenever you would like me to join your project, just let me know :)
When I try to reply to your message, it says that I'm not allowed to send messages yet. So I'm replying here. I'm in :) I don't have a problem with the consent, but I just signed it for Toy Photographers blog for the Christmas photo with deadline of December 6th that Shelly posted on MeWe community publicly for everyone to join. Is that a problem? Can I also sign it for SIP? Or how does that work? I already sent her the photo and consent when I read this forum.
Well, we shouldn't be double dipping :)
If you submit your images to TP that is great.
The very first opportunity is indeed the Christmas one, and we decided to walk a little bit slower as TP but you are in good hands and I am sure it will be great fun for all.
Lets just keep an eye open on what is next, and I count you in for possible next opportunities.
