I’d like to start by thanking Jenn for her amazing themes for July and all the great shots that have come from them!
My first theme for August has been explored many times before in lots of shots, but it’s a big favourite of mine.. the mash-up.
Definition of mash-up
: something created by combining elements from two or more sources:
I’d like you all to create an image that features at least two of your favourite characters from different films, books or cinematic universes coming together in a new unique way. It could even just feature a figure using an accessory from a different universe, how about Harry Potter using a lightsaber? Or Ironman duelling with Darth Vader.
Here are a few mash-up shots I’ve taken over the years for inspiration, including some none Lego images.
There are no rules with this theme other than the shot must feature at least two different figures or elements from different themes, let your imagination run wild!.
I can’t wait to see what you all come up with.
