The wait is over.
The red one is here.
After orange (2016), blue (2018) and green (2020) it is now time for red.
The lovers of the color red can now place themselves firmly in the driving seat of Ferrari’s latest beast masterpiece with the new LEGO® Technic™ Ferrari Daytona SP3.
Three Thousand Seven Hundred Seventy Eight LEGO pieces
Young Woody got his hands on one of the earlier prototypes and is super excited about this 3,778-piece model.
A model that is packed full of details that embody the engineering prowess and elegant design of the unparalleled sports racer. And this time around this Technic marvel includes quite some classic LEGO in the build.
It is the LEGO System after all.
It works !
To capture the essence of racing spirit at the heart of the Ferrari brand, the new 1:8 scale LEGO Technic beast model boasts a functioning 8-speed sequential gearbox with paddle shifter, a V12 engine with moving pistons and striking silver lacquered rims.
And this time around we managed to get it right the first time when Woody put his prototype together.
Not like with the blue one, when the instructions got mixed up.

And Woody got even closer to the action by recreating the Ferrari Daytona SP3’s elegant design and sleek aerodynamics as he build this traffic-stopping red beast work of art ready to take it out for a spin later this weekend.

A pair of working butterfly doors open to unveil the sleek interior.
A perfectly recreated cockpit with the prancing horse logo on the steering wheel.
Adding the final touches to this visionary model that Woody can’t wait to take for a spin.
No designer bag in the front this time.

The Red Marvel
This fourth addition (after Orange, Blue and Green) to the LEGO Technic Ultimate Car Concept series measures over 5.5 inches ( that is 14 cm, but inches sounds more impressive) high, 23 inches (59 cm which is long, very long) long and 9.5 inches (25 cm) wide when fully built.
Proud owners can get even more immersed with the build by going to www.LEGO.com/Ferrari-Daytona-SP3 for exclusive content.
Speaking about the showstopping model, Niels B. Christiansen, LEGO Group CEO and avid sports car lover said:
“This model is a testament to the pursuit of excellence that lies at the core of the Ferrari and LEGO Group ethos. No detail has been overlooked in the design and as someone with an engineering background myself, I’m blown away by the attention to detail and precision of the model at such as small scale. We’re incredibly lucky to be able to partner with Ferrari to help fans turn their dreams into a reality as they build this standout example of racing excellence for real with this new set.”
Niels B. Christiansen, Enthusiastic Car Lover, and LEGO Group CEO
The LEGO Technic Ferrari Daytona SP3 will be available from June 1, 2022 exclusively from LEGO Stores globally.
And then in many retailers worldwide from August 1, 2022.
Exclusive Behind The Scenes
For fans that want to get even closer to the action, Ferrari and the LEGO Group have opened their doors to give supercar enthusiasts a sneak peek behind the scenes of the model’s design in an exclusive coffee table style book and we guess that some of these images will make it into the book.

The book delves deep into the innovation and engineering excellence that unites both brands and takes a closer look at the collaborative process of conceptualizing, designing and producing the model, featuring interviews from LEGO Group and Ferrari designers and third-generation LEGO Group owner Kjeld Kirk Kristiansen on why the model means so much to him.
The LEGO Technic Daytona SP3, The Sense of Perfection coffee book will be available exclusively on LEGO.com globally from June 1, 2022 in an exclusive print run of 5000 copies and we will leave this to the happy few.
Take it for a spin
All images in this press’r where kindly provided by The LEGO Group and Ferrari and Woody can’t wait to get his red one out for a spin and some burning rubber in the weekend.

And no, young Woody won’t do a Kim or a Justin on his one.
Oh-uh, better not make the Justin this time.
I like red. And I really like that this time it’s only one red (not several greens).
Looking forward to the reactions of the cheering crowd and the hardcore fanbase.
