Once upon a time…

Once upon a time… you’ve got mail.
Or so they say.
April is a wrap.
May is upon us.
Time to leave the road movies and the SiPgoesCinquecento challenge behind us and get ready for an overdose of romance in our SiPgoesTT challenge of May.

Romantic Movies

Our theme this month is romantic movies.
The challenge is still the same.
Everyone can join.
And we even have a fantastic prize this month for one of you.

Once upon a time I got a bookstore …

The Challenge.

Every month we have two creative challenges in our SiPgoesTT series around the movie theme of the month, and you can choose to do both or just one. Or even skip a month if the theme is not your cup of tea.

The first one is to recreate a scene from a favorite movie of the genre (this month romantic movies). You can just have fun with recreating the scene or turn this into a full learning experience and try to capture the mood, the lighting, and the camera angle.

For the second challenge, you become the movie director and can make the movie of your dream. The goal is to create a story of (at least) three images representing the theme of the month.
With a beginning, a middle, and an end (or a cliffhanger).

Be sure to tag your photos with #SiPgoesTT and #SiPgoesTT_romanticmovie on social media to join in the fun.

You’ve got mail

You’ve got mail is one of many romantic movies that have a bookshop central in their theme and there is something very romantic about bookstores. So, we decided we will be giving away a full bookshop (and annex) to one creative soul that captures the essence of SiPgoesTT this month. Yep, a pristine LEGO Bookshop 10270 set shipped straight from the LEGO shop.

You, ve got mail … and yes, the annex is included in our prize of the month.

So, get creative and maybe you’ve got mail by the end of the month when our jury looks at the romantic entries of SiPgoesTT this month and gives away a bookstore.
