As we mentioned last week, we have a full packed year of creativity ahead of us. 52 words we will be exploring. Fifty-two values and emotions. And our random generator kicked Creativity as the first word of 2018.
Creativity
Creativity, a noun that according to Google translates into the use of imagination or original ideas to create something.
Inventiveness, Imagination, Originality are seen as synonyms.
Wikipedia’s definition is slightly more elaborate and defines our first word of the year as a phenomenon whereby something new and somehow valuable is formed. The created item may be intangible (such as an idea, a scientific theory, a musical composition, or a joke) or a physical object (such as an invention, a literary work, or a toy photograph).
So, whatever definition we take, creativity or the art of creating images from simple plastic toys is something we have in abundance here in our community.
