First of all, I want to thank Shelly for asking me to share my story.
Three years ago, I found a huge box of Lego from my childhood.
Emotion.
Mainly the box was filled with very old Lego and other 90s toys. I immediately create a forum with the bricks of my bulk, from dawn until sunset.
I instantly saw the possibilities of creating crazy characters with the small plastic toys. I had some characters on me and I started to put them on the stage I had built.
I do not have a favorite LEGO theme. I change with every photograph I and try to start anew every new scene. That’s why I do not post very often. The photograph must not be an obsession but a moment of lightness and freshness. In all my shots, I try to convey emotion; whether it’s a smile, joy or simply tenderness.
Sharing my pictures with the world is a really wonderful experience. While many people are nostalgic for the past, we must admit that today we have the means to share what we do very easily. I’ll try to post some more soon, but anyway, I’m always present.
Thank you to all who have read this and follow me on Instagram. Keep your child’s soul forever.
Gabriel (aka Legoraman)
Editors note: I want to thank Gabriel for contributing to our “Why?” series. I appreciate the extra effort he had to go to as a non-English speaker. Thank you so much my friend!
Lego are always Lego.
Nothing can replace it.
Well done, Gabriel.
“The photograph must not be an obsession but a moment of lightness and freshness. In all my shots, I try to convey emotion; whether it’s a smile, joy or simply tenderness.” – a timely reminder. Thank you for this gift. :D
Les photos n’ont jamais été faite par “Legoraman” mais par sa compagne. Merci a elle pour ces superbes photos, car depuis qu’ils ne sont plus ensemble il n’a plus posté de nouvelles photos.
